Job Description

Title: Coverage Counselor

Department: Residential

Reports to: Evening Supervisor

Duties:
Works closely with interdisciplinary team members to:

• Duties are multi-dimensional.

• In the absence of clinical staff, perform the duties of primary counselors and the house manager as well as take care of the house in case of emergency and for security purposes.

• Counsel the residents when the need arises and make decisions that are in the best interest of the residents and Greenhope.

• Responsible for hourly census of the house, conduct house tours, and assure that the clients conduct themselves in a responsible manner.

• Keep clear and precise records of the activities that occur during duty and discuss unusual occurrences or activities with the primary counselor.

• Remain objective and serve the clients with compassion and professionalism.
