Greenhope celebrates is 11th Annual Client Graduation Ceremony

"It's a New Season." Clients, family and staff celebrated an amazing evening of courage, determination, and success at Greenhope's 11th Annual Client Graduation. This year's featured guest speaker was Senator Ruth Hassell-Thompson of New York State's 36th Senate District, the Bronx and Westchester.

Greenhope's annual graduation celebration is the culmination of behavioral counseling and self-awareness work that the clients have undergone in the past year in order to reclaim their lives. It is a poignant gathering where clients are awarded certificates of completion in the presence of family members, staff, funders, elected officials and Greenhope supporters.

The event was held on Friday, May 30, 2008 at 6:30 pm at the Canaan Baptist Church's Sanctuary, 132 West 116th Street between Lenox and Seventh Avenues followed by a reception at Canaan's Founders Hall.
