Greenhope Hosts 2008 Client Christmas
Party
December 10, 2008
Greenhope clients spent a night of fun and holiday cheer with
their families and loved ones for the 2008 Client Christmas Party
on Wednesday, December 10th, 2008. The event was held at the Holy
Rosary Church in East Harlem.
The Reverend Robert Royal offered the opening prayer, followed
by a wonderful song sung by our very own Executive Director, Dr.
Anne R. Elliott, and a heartfelt play by the clients entitled,
“Miracle on 119th Street.” The play explored the theme
of two Christmases, one spent in prison and the other at Greenhope.
It offered moving testimony to the improvement Greenhope makes
in the lives of its clients.
Friends and loved ones were invited to the Christmas party to
share in the holiday spirit and to celebrate the enormous strides
made by our clients. The party was also attended by Greenhope
staff, who helped to serve food and officiate the event, as well
as several board members and influential donors.
