Second Annual Jammin' for Hope Fundraiser
Greenhope is pleased to announce its second annual dinner/jazz fundraiser
Jammin' For Hope on Wednesday, August 25, 2004 at the world famous Lenox
Lounge.
The evening will feature scrumptious soul food dinner choices, the Lenox Lounge's
very own house band playing two jazz sets beginning at 6 pm and 9 pm; and, alumnae
guest speakers testifying to a life of recovery after drugs and crime.
Proceeds from this event will help provide services such as substance abuse counseling, basic reading and writing instruction, parenting classes, vocational training, domestic violence education and prevention, and activities of daily living instruction. In 2005, we anticipate the ground breaking of Greenhop's new home, one of the first of its kind in New York State: an alternative to incarceration residence for women and their children. Therefore, Greenhope will have the opportunity to double the number of women it can serve. Would you please consider contributing to our vision?
As a potential Greenhope supporter or business person, there are two ways you can help: 1) buy seats to the event and 2) purchase an ad in the evening's program.
Seating prices for the event are $30, $50 and $100 which includes dinner.
As a keepsake Greenhope will create a program featuring ads and congratulatory notes from community businesses and Greenhope supporters. Last year, the ads were perused by guests such as city officials, local clergy, and community professionals.
We hope that you will join the Board, staff, and friends of Greenhope as we celebrate the achievements of the past 29 years and continue to build a future for our clients and their families.
