Sister Mary NerneyIndependent Commission on New York City Criminal Justice and Incarceration Reform

Greenhope will be a part of the Independent Commission on New York City Criminal Justice and Incarceration Reform chaired by Chief Judge Jonathan Lippman. Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito announced during her recent State of the City address that the Independent Commission will examine measures to improve the Cityís criminal justice system and its incarceration practices.

Greenhope Services for Women actively participates in the New York Reentry Housing Workgroup, which is made up of 16 reentry housing and service providers and convened by CSH.
